William J. Pollisino Jr., 68, of Osceola Mills died Friday, March 6, 2015 at his home.

Born Sept. 13, 1946 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late William J. Pollisino Sr. and Margaret J. (Lawrence) Pollisino.  He married Barbara Lee (Baxter) Pollisino on June 20, 1970 in Osceola Mills.  She survives him.

Mr. Pollisino was Catholic by faith.  He was a retired truck driver, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a Decatur Township representative for the ORD, Osceola Mills.  He was a 1965 graduate of the Philipsburg – Osceola High School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Cherie Pollisino.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, Tyler Pollisino of Houtzdale and his companion, Kelly Gallaher and Robert L. Pollisino and his wife, Barb of Philipsburg.

He is survived by three sisters, Peggy Ann Reese and her husband, Charles of Glenn Mills, Diana Pollisino of Lewes, Del., and Mary Johns and her husband, David of Georgetown, Del., and two brothers, Anthony Pollisino of Harrisburg and Jeffrey Pollisino of Osceola Mills.

He is also survived by two grandchildren, Brooke Olivieri and Bobby Pollisino and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 27 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Father Robert J. Horgas officiating.  Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday, March 26, and from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 27 at the funeral home.

The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26.

Military honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
