Mary K. Bonsall, 93, of Troutville died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015 at Christ the King Manor.
Born July 17, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gladys (Allshouse) Schoch.
On Nov. 9, 1946, she married Harry W. Bonsall Jr. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2009.
Prior to her marriage, she worked for Sylvania in Emporium. She had also worked at Cowdrick’s Drug Store in DuBois and the U.S. Post Office in Troutville.
She was a member of Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ. She also was a member of the Brady Grange and the Luthersburg Over 50 Club.
She loved to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She loved to go for car rides and most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Hartzfeld and Nancy London and her husband, Harold, both of Punxsutawney, and Becky Anderson and her husband, Richard of DuBois; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren. She was also expecting a new great-grandson in December.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Wendell, Ronald and Harold Schoch and her son-in-law, James Hartzfeld.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ with Pastor Audra Krise officiating.
Burial will be in Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery.
