Julia A. Komonce, 80, of Clearfield died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born July 11, 1935, a daughter of the late Franklin and Gertrude (Lindahl) Blake.
Mrs. Komonce was employed as a payroll clerk at Clearfield Area School District for six years and also as a bookkeeper for Clearfield Hardware for 12 years.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Komonce Jr., on April 26, 2012 and to whom she was wed Oct. 19, 1957 in Olanta.
She was also preceded in death by sister, Mary Helen Zarecky; a brother, Calvin Blake; and an infant brother and sister.
In accordance with Mrs. Komonce’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Orphans of the Storm, c/o Peggy Sass, 223 Hill St. Curwensville.
