Mary Christine Densham, 98, of Treasure Lake, Dubois, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Christ the King Manor, Dubois.
Born March 3, 1918 in Pisek, Czechoslovakia, she was the daughter of Joseph R. and Mary Alice (Cebelius) Tekely.
On Sept. 25, 1934 in Alexandria, Pa., she married Edward Ray Densham, who died March 12, 2000.
She was a 1934 graduate of Philipsburg High School and worked in banking. She enjoyed collecting antiques and loved listening to polkas and Lawrence Welk.
She is survived by three nieces, Kelly (Densham) Copa and Leslie (Densham) Obermiller, both of Ohio, and Brenda (Teckley) Ramirez of California and a nephew, Paul Teckley of California and the Williams family, which was a second family to her.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son; two sisters, Sophia Larson and Rita May Densham; and three brothers, John Teckely, Gust Tekely and Joseph Tekely.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, Philipsburg, with Fr. John Gibbons officiating.
Burial will be at the Allport Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
