Cecelia A. Turner, 91, a resident of Dubois Nursing Home, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016.
Born Dec. 23, 1924 in Brookville, she was the daughter of Henry and Viola May (Vandervort) Siebenrock.
She attended the St. Francis Catholic School. She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed crocheting, county fairs, country music and reading.
On Oct. 23, 1946 in Staunton, Va., she wed William A. Turner, who preceded her in death in April of 1965. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Thomas A. Turner; and two brothers, William and Vincent Siebenrock.
She is survived by a son, Timothy H. Turner and his wife, Susan of DuBois and special nieces and nephews, Eileen Hoover, Kathryn Deaver, Jerome Siebenrock, Paul Siebenrock and Mary Anne Szeluga.
She was the last member of her generation.
Funeral services for Mrs. Turner will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with Pastor Rick Howe officiating. Burial will be held in the Friends Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
