Mary Morrison, 94, of Wickliffe, Ohio and formerly of Smithmill, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Aberdeen Crossing Assisted Living, Highland Heights, Ohio.
Born March 31, 1923 in Smithmill, she was the daughter of the late Gregory “Harry” and Anastasia “Nancy” (Lutsic) Dick.
She will be deeply missed by her two children, Loretta (Robert) Phelps of Mayfield Village, Ohio and John (Lori) Morrison of Eastlake, Ohio, and her granddaughters, Kristie (Tom) Donelson, Jessica (Matt) Pipoly, Sara Phelps, Michelle (Marc) Latkovic, Melissa Phelps and Kristina (Eric) Hoehnen.
She has five great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored, Makayla, Mia, Connor, Miles and Mallory. She is also survived by her brothers, Sam Dick and Nick Blaha; her sister, Katherine Rudnicki; and sister-in-law, Rose Blaha.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Morrison; brothers, Frank, John and Wasco Dick and Paul Blaha; and her sister, Ann Lefebvre.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., Ramey.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St Vladimir Orthodox Church, Janesville. Father Paul Bigelow will be officiating the services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
