Obituary Notice: S. Donald Kokoskie (Provided photo)
S. Donald Kokoskie, 83, was born Oct. 1, 1930 in Ramey. He was a son of the late Stephen Edward and Susan Agnes (Petrovich) Kokoskie.
He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Kathleen. He was the devoted father of Daniel of Houston, TX; Donald (Anne) of Avon Lake Ohio; Douglas (Tami) of Glen Gardner, NJ; and Dennis of Middle River MD.
He was the loving grandpa K of Daniel, Michael, Matthew, Amy, Abby, Kyle and Lauren and the great-grandfather of Dylan and Zoey. He was the dear brother of Janice Kowalcyk (Robert), who is deceased; Betty Lou Raponi (Gene), who is deceased; and Larry (Carol) Kokoskie; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kokoskie was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was employed for 41.5 years at Chevrolet, Cleveland.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at Walter Martens & Sons in Cleveland, Ohio.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Ignatius of Anitoch Church in Cleveland, Ohio. His entombment will be at the Resthaven Memory Garden.
The family suggests memorial donations to benefit the children of the St. Ignatius Parish.
