Randall Stewart Bloom, 62, of Curwensville, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born Aug. 23, 1951 in Clearfield, he was the son of Stewart G. “Pete” and Georgia B. (McGarvey) Bloom. Mr. Bloom was a heavy equipment operator and last worked for Waroquier Coal Company.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Curwensville VFW Post No. 842 and Curwensville American Legion Post No. 505.
Surviving are three siblings, Joan Ullery and Lynn Bloom Sr., both of Curwensville and Dottie Redden and her husband, Gerald of Mahaffey, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At the request of Mr. Bloom, there will be no public visitation, and private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Howard Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in the Bloomington Cemetery.
